NEW DELHI: Salons to open in green and orange zones. In addition to the sale of non-essential items by the e-commerce platform, the Home Ministry on Saturday clarified that salons will be allowed to open in Green and Orange zones in the third phase of Lockdown from next 8th.

On Friday, the Home Ministry extended the lockdown for another two weeks, removing a number of obstacles from the Green and Orange zones. A Home Ministry spokesman said the e-commerce platform in the Green and Orange zones had no restrictions on the sale of non-essential goods, adding that salons were also allowed to open in the area.
In the red zones, on the other hand, the Home Ministry has made it clear that e-commerce companies are only allowed to sell essential goods. In addition, salons are not allowed to open in the Red Zone, the Home Ministry said Similarly, special shops separated in the Green, Orange and Red zones are allowed to sell wine. In liquor stores, customers have to maintain a minimum distance of six feet from each other and no more than five people can be present at the shop at the same time, the Home Ministry said. The rule will take effect on May 4, when the third phase of Lockdown begins
