Presenting the information today, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Bardhan said, ‘All the preliminary work of this RT-PCR and Antibody‘ Test Kit 4 ’, which was developed with full indigenous know-how, has been completed and has reached its final stage. Currently, only the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICM4R6) is awaiting approval. With the approval of ICM4R7, we will start commercial production and it will be available in the market from May. And using this test kit, we will be able to test more than 100,000 samples daily in the country. ‘
