Bhubaneswar: Corona virus once again hit Puri . 15 positives identified this evening, two are from Puri district. The two are said to have recently returned from West Bengal. A coroner was identified from Puri district on April 3. But after he recovered, Puri district was declared free of corona. Now the number of active victims in the district has reached 2.
As of midnight yesterday, 56,780 RT PCA samples had been tested in the state. So far, a total of 377 cases have been reported from 21 districts. So far, 68 people have been treated for coronary heart disease, while 306 active patients are being treated at various Covid hospitals. Only three people have died of coronary heart disease.
A maximum of 125 cases of coronary heart disease have been identified in Ganjam district. The second highest number is 60 from Jajpur district, 50 from Khordha district, 42 from Baleshwar district, 31 from Bhadrak district, 15 from Anugul district, 13 from Sundergarh district, 8 to 8 from Kendrapara and Mayurbhanj districts, 5 from Jagatsinghpur district, 3 from Boudh and Puri districts. Three, 2 from Balangir, Jharsuguda, Kendujhar, Cuttack and Kalahandi districts, have been identified. Koraput, Devgarh, Dhenkanal and Nayagarh districts have also been hit by a typhoon.
