Private vehicles will not run in 9 districts of Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The state government has issued new directives during the second phase of the lockdown. In urban areas of nine high-risk districts, no one is allowed to drive. Domestic vehicles will be operated in these districts only for emergency and essential services.
Those districts are Khordha, Bhadrak, Sundergarh, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Puri, Jajpur, Kalahandi and Dhenkanal. The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has provided the details.
Similarly, the remaining half of the water resources department in rural areas will continue. Road construction, buildings, MSMEs, industrial projects will continue. Lockdown cuts will not apply to all of these actions.
