New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that if any health worker dies while treating coronavirus patients, the state government will provide Rs 1 crore in compensation to their relatives.

Addressing a press conference, Chief Minister Kejriwal said: “If any doctor, nurse, hospital sanitation worker, lab technician dies during the treatment of Kovid-16 patients, the Delhi government will pay Rs 1 crore to their families.”
Chief Minister Kejriwal also said that a total of 60 sanitation machines have been deployed in the city and most of the sites have been sanitized. Chief Minister Kejriwal also appealed to the people to maintain social distance while living in the content zone. “The city has 71 content zones,” he said. “I urge people to stay in their homes and not go to their neighbors’ homes.”
