Odisha government extended the lockdown period until May 3
Bhubaneswar: The state government has extended the lockdown period till May 3 next year to combat corona. The information was provided by the Department of Information and Public Relations. The lockdown period has been extended until midnight on May 3rd. The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has issued a directive in this regard.
Notably, the state government launched the lockdown on March 22 last year to combat the corona. In the first phase, the lockdown ended on April 14. But before the end of the first phase of the lockdown, the state government proposed to the central government to extend the lockdown until April 30, and it did so for the first time. The central government has extended the lockdown period until May 3. The state government has similarly extended the lockdown time to March 3.
