Amarinder Follows Naveen’s  footsteps : Punjab Chief Minister extended the lockdown period to May 1

New Delhi :  Punjab has decided to increase the lockdown as the second state in the country after Odisha. The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder, convened a cabinet meeting today to discuss the corona. The cabinet meeting unanimously decided that the shutdown in the state would continue until May 1. This means that the lockdown will take place on May 2. Punjab was the first to impose a curfew in the war against the corona virus. In Punjab, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has been on the rise in recent days. So far, 132 cases have been reported. Eleven people have been killed in the state.
